Shaft runout causing gearbox noise claims
Re-milled drive faces between centres instead of in a chuck. Runout 0.04 → 0.008 mm. Warranty claims stopped within one quarter.
Fitting leak failures at 6,000 psi
Moved zinc plating to zinc-nickel and added 100% leak testing at 435 bar. Return rate 1.8% → 0.05%.
